Business Center

Powered and partially funded by the Small Business Administration (SBA) is hosted by Friends of Puerto Rico. The MWBC is located at University of Puerto Rico in Bayamon, and provides comprehensive training and resources for women entrepreneurs in the San Juan-Bayamón Metro area.

The business center provides important resources to budding women entrepreneurs wherever they are in their process, from support through the conceptual stage, to creating a startup business through the path of achieving sustainability. Additionally, the center supports established women entrepreneurs to help maximize the growth potential of their existing businesses.

As a nonprofit, our mission is to improve inclusion, access, and knowledge in entrepreneurship that leads to starting or growing a business.

Our vision is to enhance the economic self-sufficiency and quality of life of women and individuals through entrepreneurial training, technical assistance and access to capital for new and growing businesses throughout Puerto Rico’s San Juan and Bayamon region.
