Are you passionate about empowering women entrepreneurs and driving economic growth in Puerto Rico? The Metro Women’s Business Center (MWBC) invites you to be a catalyst for change by joining our Advisory Council for the 2024-25 term!

As a non-fiduciary strategic advisor, you will play a crucial role in guiding the Executive Director and Board of Directors, planning initiatives, and making a tangible impact.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven leadership and event management experience.
• Expertise in social media, sales force, and online fundraising.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion.
• Specific skills in fundraising, marketing, investment management, or strategic development.
• A passion for youth entrepreneurship and community development in Puerto Rico.
• Active engagement in philanthropic and community organizations.

Advisory Council Responsibilities:

• Advocate for and spread awareness of the MWBC.
• Maintain a minimum $500 contribution (tax-deductible).
• Lead and participate in fundraising initiatives.
• Attend and invite guests to MWBC events.
• Serve a two-year term with regular meeting attendance. maximum 4 meetings a year
• Partner with fellow council members and MWBC staff.
