LINK: Connecting Entrepreneurs with Capital and Growth

LINK is a business acceleration program developed by the Metro Women’s Business Center of Friends of Puerto Rico, with support from Oriental Bank, designed to strengthen small businesses through hands-on training, business tools, and preparation to access financing opportunities.

Over the course of approximately six weeks, participants will attend specialized workshops led by industry experts on key topics for business growth, including strategy, finance, access to capital, sales, marketing, leadership, digital transformation, and preparing business presentations.

At the end of the program, participants will undergo a final interview during which they will deliver a mini-pitch about their company as part of the evaluation process to select the businesses that will receive seed capital.

Admission to the program does not guarantee the receipt of seed capital. The selection of the winning companies will be made by an evaluation committee in accordance with the criteria established by the program.

Who is eligible to participate?

The program is aimed at small businesses that meet the following criteria:

A business that has been in operation for up to three (3) years.
A business established in Puerto Rico.
All business permits and documentation are up to date.
Availability to participate in the hybrid program sessions.
Commitment to completing all established requirements.

Interested individuals must complete the online application and participate in an initial interview as part of the evaluation process.

Seed Capital Opportunity

As part of the program, participating companies will have the opportunity to compete for one of eight (8) seed capital grants.

Selection will take place after successfully completing the program and participating in the final interview.

Participation in the program does not guarantee receipt of seed capital.
